Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We would like to emphasize that the primary goal is to stop the spread of germs.

Because of this, if your child has a fever, we will have you speak to the nurse first, who will help you decide if an appointment is appropriate.  For children with signs of mild illness, it is safer to treat with supportive care at home.

To help minimize spread of COVID-19:  1) Avoid close contact with people who are sick.  2) Stay home when you are sick, except to get needed medical care.  3) Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.  4) Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.  5) Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.  6) Clean and disinfect touched objects and surfaces frequently.

IMPORTANT:  We do not have COVID-19 testing available in our office.

Questions regarding testing can be obtained by accessing the CT State Hotline 2-1-1 or the Yale Coronavirus Hotline at 203-688-1700 (M-F 7a-7p), or by calling your local Health Department.
