Dr. Wanerka is retiring on July 1, 2020. He can be reached prior to that by phone at the Allergy office number, (203) 481-0566, if there are any issues or questions. Sadly, as of July 1st, there will no longer be an allergist in the office.
Dr. Wanerka founded Branford Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in 1982. He is a man of many talents, including a board certification in both Pediatrics and Allergy and Immunology. He has provided care to many families in the area. It is not uncommon for those children, who are now adults, to choose to bring their children to us.
Dr. Wanerka had worked in Pediatrics for 41 years, before working solely as an Allergist, his second passion. Since 2012, he has practiced Pediatric Allergy exclusively. He has been a much loved pediatrician and allergist. He has been an asset to our community providing advice and care to families both in and outside of our practice. He will be greatly missed.
