Dr. Patrick Alvino
Dr. Patrick Alvino was born in Brooklyn, New York and is a proud graduate of the New York City Public Schools. He then attended Boston University in the Six Year Medical Program and graduated with a BA/MD in 1983. He completed a Pediatric Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 1986. He became an associate at Branford Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in the same year and to his great surprise, is still here. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and he is Board Certified. Dr. Alvino is also a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics for Yale School of Medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Alvino enjoys travel, cooking and music, especially jazz. He is a member of Physicians for a National Health Program and hopes that one day, the United States will join the many other countries that guarantee health care to all of its people.
