Branford Pediatrics & Allergy submits claims for our patients to multiple insurance carriers.
We are “par” (participating) with all of the companies below. However, there are exceptions based on benefits and location – we ask that all our patients take responsibility for knowing that we are listed as a participating provider on their insurance contract and be aware of all in-network and out-of-network coverage. Important information associated with any of the payers can be found below.
In particular, for the allergy department, patients must ensure that all necessary referrals are in place before coming to the visit, or the visit may need to be rescheduled.
It is important that patients promptly resolve any insurance issues related to unpaid claims and be sure to make our office aware of any secondary insurance coverage.
Our business office is happy to help with insurance information and can be accessed Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
We participate in the following insurance plans:
- Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
- First Health
- Harvard Pilgrim
- Medicaid Husky A, B, C, D (Husky Temporary Proof of Coverage Letters for Medicaid/Husky A must be dated within 30 days of the scheduled visit.)
- United Health Care
We are not participating with TriCare, but will help facilitate insurance claim submission.
